Opinion essay- are the Wright brothers an inspiration to the world?

The Wright brothers were an inspiration to the world because of their invention of the airplane. I will give you plenty of reasons why the Wright brothers were an inspiration to the world.

 

First of all, the main reason why the Wright brothers were an inspiration is because of their invention of the airplane. Imagine how we lived before planes traveling from place to place on boat for possibly months. But now, thanks to the Wright brothers, who worked for many years on their creation, we can travel very long distances and it will only take a few hours.

 

Secondly in my opinion the Wright brothers were an inspiration because of their hard work and because of the story of their life. The story of the Wright brothers was that when they were in their thirtys' they hatched the idea of creating the airplane. It was a regular day when they were selling bikes and they realized “why can't we make something that flies in the air and stays in the air like a bike that keeps standing up”. From that day they were working on the airplane. Their idea and their hard work are inspirational and drove many people after them to create great machinery and to improve the airplane that they built.

 

That is why, in my opinion, the Wright brothers were an inspiration to the world.
